Delegation of Kimpo University (Republic of Korea) visited MPEI

On the 19th of October, 2015 delegation from Kimpo University (Republic of Korea) visited MPEI.

Kimpo University (earlier – Kimpo college) was founded in 1996 for developing various international programs. In 2013 Kimpo obtained status of University. Annually at the University about 3500 Korean and 250 foreign students are trained.

Kimpo University delegation from Republic of Korea including Director of Dept. of Planning and Analysis, professor Kim Kisoo and Vice Rector on international relations, professor Kim Dyum-Gir was hospitably met at MPEI International Division by Vice Rector on international relations Vladimir Zamolodchikov, Head of International Administration Sergei  Shirinskii and Deputy Head of Department of International Relations Elena Gulicheva.

Within the meeting at International Division there were discussed the issues concerning cooperation between Universities in the following areas:

1. IT – technology;

2. Economics and management;

3. Design;

4. Korean language training at Kimpo University and training of  Russian language in MPEI;

5. Cultural exchange of students' collectives.

Also, there was signed the frame contract on cooperation between Kimpo University and MPEI.
