The 2nd Russian-Vietnamese Summer School at MPEI

On the 12 of July, 2019, the second Russian-Vietnamese Summer School that has been lasting for 3 weeks at MPEI came to its end.

On the 12 of July, 2019, the second Russian-Vietnamese Summer School that has been lasting for 3 weeks at MPEI came to its end.

In the framework of the Summer School program a group of students from Hoang Van Thu secondary school of Hoabinh city, Vietnam, visited MPEI. The collaboration between the school and MPEI has been lasting since 2016.

Apart from studying Russian, the guests have learned much about MPEI activities of its departments.

The Vietnamese trainees visited the 1502 Lyceum that is attached to MPEI. Vladimir Chudov, its headmaster, spoke about the school life and showed a few laboratories. As well, the concert was organized by the students and staff of the Lyceum.

The foreigners were offered the culture program. Every day, they were opening new pages of Moscow’s life.

The Vietnamese students took part in the solemn ceremony of handing Diplomas to the foreign Bachelor and Master graduates in 2019.

All 29 students mastered the program of the Summer School. Its conclusion was brightened by the songs and dancing, the concert prepared by the Vietnamese students and teachers of the Department of the Russian Language Tamara Bogoslovskaya and Elena Guseva.

Upon the finish all the students received the certificates of education.

In a year, schoolchildren will have to choose the University for their further studies. We hope that many of them will choose MPEI as their future Alma Mater.​
