Development of cooperation with Bulgaria

On the 4th of September 2019 the delegation of MPEI that consisted of Alexander Anikeev, Head of the Department of Nuclear Power Plants and its professor, Konstantin Proskuryakov, visited Bulgaria in the framework of the 45th Jubilee of NPP “Kozloduy”.

The jubilee conference was led by the Executive Director Nasko Mihov. On the celebration, there were distinguished power engineers, former NPP directors, representatives of Bulgaria power companies and Russian partners who took part in the building and working of the station. All the Conference members exchanged warm welcome speeches and memorable gifts. MPEI was esteemed with the honor certificate and jubilee badge as a gratitude for preparing high-qualified specialists for NPP.

MPEI delegation underlined considerable impact that the University has made to the formation of high-qualified staff of NPP, pointed out the continuous link of MPEI professors with graduates and their participation to several bilateral scientific projects, wished the Bulgarian colleagues further prosperity and hoped for a long fruitful collaboration.
