Delegation of Harbin University of Technology visits MPEI

On the 30th of September 2019 MPEI hosted a visit of Harbin University of Technology. The delegation comprised six persons. From the part of MPEI the meeting was attended by representatives of Department of Electrical Complexes of Self-Contained Objects and Electrical Transport, and Foreign Office.

Elena Gulicheva, the Head of Department of International Relations, provided a presentation on MPEI and after, the Chinese delegation was offered a tour round MPEI.

Sergey Ostanin, professor of ECSCOET Department showed the guests the research laboratory for the development of prototypes of electronic devices and a training laboratory for microprocessor technology and valve systems.

During the meeting, the parties expressed deep satisfaction with the development of cooperation between MPEI and Harbin University of Technology and discussed the prospects for further joint work.

Harbin University of Technology was founded in 1920. Now it is one of a leading universities in training highly qualified specialists in a number of fields.

Apart from the scientific collaboration for students, Harbin grants the selection for scholarships in the framework of academic mobility programs.
