Solemn Academic Colloquium and ceremony of delivering the TU Ilmenau Diplomas

On the 22th of October 2019 MPEI hosted the visit of Technical University Ilmenau that is a MPEI collaboration partner in different educational projects, particularly, in the program of additional education in German "German Engineering Faculty MPEI – TU Ilmenau".

This program is jointly conducted by MPEI and TU Ilmenau within the active support of DAAD, Siemens AG and other organizations.

In the framework of the delegation visit, MPEI held a solemn academic colloquium of joint German Engineering Faculty MPEI – TU Ilmenau that was crowned by the delivery of Diplomas to Master graduates of Double Degree program.

Andreas Hoeschen, Head of Moscow DAAD Branch Office, and Alexander Tarasov, Vice-rector on International Relations of MPEI, spoke the forewords. The ceremony of handing was led by Igor Zhelbakov, Head of Center of International Educational Programs, and TU Ilmenau Double-Degree Program Coordinator Herr Dieter Fritz, who personally handed the Diplomas this year, alongwith Yvonne Klomke, DAAD and MPEI lecturer, who wished students success in their career.

From the foreign part, Matthies Gudrun and Diana Butters, the coordinators of the mutual program attended the handing. The event also gathered the teaching staff superiors Irina Miroshnikova, Head of IREE, Sergey Vishnyakov, Head of IACE Sergey Gruzkov, Head of IEE, Natalia Agraponova, Deputy Head of IEPE.

Ivan Kruzhilov, one of the first graduates from this program, visited the ceremony and spoke about his career route after obtaining Diplomas of MPEI and TU Ilmenau.

From 2003 to 2019 more than 180 students of MPEI received the documents of graduation from TU Ilmenau. This year the graduates were:
