Presentation about international programs for MPEI students

On the 23rd of October 2019, MPEI held the presentation on international programs for MPEI students to study abroad. Among the subjects of discussion, there were topics of collaboration with Klaus Riedle Foundation, and Double Degree program of MPEI and Lapeenranta University of Technology. Students were given information about the conditions of participation in programs this year, and, as well, the answers to their questions.

In 2005, Professor Klaus Riedle was awarded the International Prize “Global energy” for development and creation of high-power heat gas turbines for steam-and-gas stations. For the whole sum of the prize professor Riedle created the Foundation on the base of Friedrich-Alexander University, Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany. The purpose of the Foundation is to support talented students from MPEI and FAU. That includes academic exchange and internship at the enterprises like Siemens.

In frames of Double Degree program of MPEI-LUT the 5th year students spend their first Master year at MPEI and at the meantime participate in the selection for studying in Finland. The ones who have been selected go to LUT to study there on their last year. After their return to Russia students receive the Russian Diploma and afterwards by decision of LUT Science Board receive the Finnish Diploma.
