MPEI-WUST Double Degree program graduates on diploma ceremony

21 October, 2021, the ceremony of handing Double Degree Diplomas of MPEI-WUST was held at MPEI. This program is a part of the project realized between MPEI and Wroclaw University of Science and Technology (WUST).

The Institute of Electric Power Engineering graduates Erdem Dogdanov, Dzhamilya Orudzheva and Philipp Narayev that were passing their education at MPEI, completed a transfer to study for a year at WUST Faculty of Electrical Engineering. They successfully completed and defended their Master theses at MPEI and WUST, and were awarded the Degree of Master of Engineering Sciences.

The ceremony of Diploma awarding was carried out by Vladimir Tulskiy, Head of the Institute of Electrical Power Engineering (IEPE), Igor Zhelbakov, Head of the International Programs Center, and Irina Kulik, coordinator of the MPEI-WUST Double Degree program.

The graduates also received congratulations from Polish supervisors: Professor Agnieszka Bieńkowska, Vice-rector for Study, Professor Waldemar Rebizant - Head of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, and Professor Robert Lis, coordinator of the Double Degree program.

The graduates expressed their warm gratitude to MPEI and WUST Administration, teachers of the Faculties, program coordinators and employees of international departments that gave them a chance to successfully improve the level of their professional competences, knowledge skills, breadth of the horizons and personal qualities, granting them significant benefits to build their careers.

The transfer of the program status to the state of both Russian and European education has been completed.
