A presentation on study opportunities in China was held at MPEI

On April 15, 2022, an online presentation of educational programs funded by the Chinese government was held, organized specifically for students and Phd students of MPEI.

Liu Wei, CSC (China Scholarship Council) program coordinator from the Institute of International Education, International Relations Department, Harbin Polytechnic University (HPU) was the keynote speaker. The special guest at the meeting was Zhou Weixing, CSc. Scientific Supervisor of the Phd School, Professor of the Institute of Power Engineering of HPU..

The students were shown informational slides and videos telling about the history of establishing and directions of HPU scientific activity. Mr. Liu Wei spoke about the peculiarities of studying at Harbin University and participating in the qualifying competition for a Chinese government scholarship. Students had the opportunity to communicate directly with the Chinese side in a question-answer format.

Liu Wei and Zhou Weixing expressed on behalf of HPU a great interest in organizing events of this format and interacting with MPEI within the framework of the "1 + 1" double diploma program.

The Department of International Relations will continue close cooperation with Chinese colleagues in order to create new opportunities for academic mobility for MPEI students.
