MPEI hosted an evening of talents among foreign students

May 20, 2022, MPEI House of Culture hosted an annual reporting concert of MPEI Intercouncil "Evening of Talents 2022".

Talented students of our university from all over the world took part in the competition. They enthusiastically demonstrated their creative performances, delighted the audience with bright costumes and pleasantly surprised the audience with a variety of genres. Each number was filled with extraordinary energy and caused a lot of smiles. The atmosphere of kindness, joy and celebration reigned in the assembly hall.

That evening 15 performances were presented on the stage. Foreign students from Mongolia, Myanmar, Chad, India, Vietnam, Syria, Ghana, DR Congo, Cuba and Russia took part in the competition.

At the Evening of Talents, the winners and prize-winners of the 16th MPEI Open Olympiad in the Russian language for foreign students of non-philological universities in Russia-2022 were awarded.

The winners were congratulated by Alexander Tarasov, Vice-Rector on International Relations who noted the high level of the Russian language proficiency of the Olympiad participants this year and wished them further creative success. Konstantin Kislitsyn, Head of the Russian Language Center welcomed the Olympiad winners and thanked them for their outstanding creative abilities, as well as for their love for the Russian language.

Certificates of honor, medals and memorable souvenirs were received by:

1st place ─ Afif Mohamed Aziz (Tunisia), Chabelli Rodriguez Lopez (Cuba), Lopes Gonçalves Coelho Lima Juliana Jenny (Cape Verde), Thang Timmy (Vietnam), Nyamdorj Bazargald (Mongolia), Khan Zalmai (Afghanistan), Amarmurun Dawakhu (Mongolia), Ashen John Benjamin (Ghana).

2nd place ─ Mundenda Trust (Zambia), Ali Alaa (Syria), Malibiche Martha Mathias (Tanzania), Dauda Kone Yunus (Chad), Tonderai Bangwayo (Zimbabwe), Rong Guannan (China).

3rd place ─ Rituparn Shukla (India), Mutandi Airin (Zambia), Biloa Essum Floran Gabin (Cameroon), To Lwin U (Myanmar), Molina Alfonso Fermin Manuel (Cuba).

A special award was given to Tang Timmy, the winner of the 2022 Internet Music Video Contest .

The evening ended with the awards ceremony of MPEI Intercouncil Spartakiad-2022:

It is worth noting that students from such universities in Moscow as RTU MIREA, RUDN, Moscow Polytechnic University, MTUCI were invited and took part in the event.
