MPEI took part in the meeting of Commission on international activity of the Rectors Council of Moscow and Moscow area

19 October, 2022 at Plekhanov Russian University of Economics a meeting of Commission on international activity of the Rectors Council of Moscow and Moscow area was hosted that was coordinated by Sergey Volodin, Vice-Rector for International Relations.

From MPEI side, Alexander Tarasov, Vice-Rector on International Relations took part in the meeting.

During the meeting, the following issues were discussed:

1. "Results of the admission campaign of foreign applicants in 2022 to Russian universities"

2. "International Strategies of Universities: New Centers of Educational Attraction and Enrollment Prospects for 2023"

3. "Integration and socio-cultural adaptation of foreign students in Russian universities"

4. “Employment of foreign students. Organization of practices and internships»

Representatives of Russian universities shared their experience in organizing work with foreign students in all areas.

At the end of the meeting, the participants noted the importance of such discussions and their significant contribution to the development of the international activities of Russian universities.
