Third graduation of bachelors from MPEI under joint training program with North China Electric Power University

On July 24, 2023, MPEI hosted a solemn presentation of bachelor's degrees to the third group of Chinese students who successfully completed their studies under the joint program of MPEI and the North China Electric Power University (NCEPU).  The joint program is implemented within the Shanghai Cooperation Organization University (USCO) with the scholarship support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia.

Following students were awarded diplomas of Bachelor’s degree:

Sun Yalong – (Institute of Electrical Power Engineering)

Ci Guosheng – (Institute of Electrical Power Engineering)

Ru Weiyun – (Institute of Electrical Power Engineering)

Pan Yiwen – (Institute of Electrical Power Engineering)

Zhang Siqi – (Institute of Electrical Power Engineering)

Zheng Yifan – (Institute of Electrical Power Engineering)

Fan Xinyu – (Institute of Electrical Power Engineering)

Wand Lifan – (Institute of Electrical Power Engineering)

Fu Xiong – (Institute of Thermal and Nuclear Power Engineering)

Yao Ziqian – (Institute of Thermal and Nuclear Power Engineering)

Chinese students who have learned joint programs in the fields of “Thermal Power Engineering”, “Electric Power Engineering” and “Nuclear Power Engineering” studied for the first and second year in the North China Electric Power University and the next two years at MPEI.

Due to the pandemic restrictions the first year of study at MPEI started in a remote format, but at the end of 2021 Chinese student were able to come to MPEI for their full-time study. Transition to the learning only in Russian was not so easy, but well-motivated students coped with the task and successfully completed their studies. Many of them are going to continue their studies on MPEI Master program.

The joint Bachelor’s degree program oriented to use the Russian language has been implemented since 2017 within the Shanghai Cooperation Organization University (USCO) and with the scholarship support of the Russian Federation and the People’s Republic of China.
