Representatives of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan visited MPEI

On January 17th, 2024 the delegation from the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan (ME RK) visited MPEI.

The purpose of the visit of Kazakh delegation was to discuss the updating issues of educational programs in the electrical power industry, the possibility of internships or advanced training on MPEI basis, the opportunity of creating a Consortium of Russian and Kazakh universities, scientific personnel training on the basis of the NTI Center for Electricity Transportation Technologies and Distributed Intelligent Energy Systems. In addition, an agreement was reached on the connection of representatives of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the meetings of the Scientific and Technical Center of the Unified Power System (STC UPS).

From ME RK side, the discussion was attended by Ilyas Bakytzhan, Vice-Minister for Digitalization and Alexey Anisimov, Director of the Department of Digitalization.

From MPEI side, there were Nikolay Rogalev, MPEI Rector, Alexander Voloshin, Head of the Department of Relay Protection and Automation of Energy Systems and Director of the NTI MPEI Competence Center "Technologies for the Transportation of Electricity and Intelligent Energy Systems", Andrey Lebedev, Associate Professor of the Department of Relay Protection and Automation of Energy Systems, Dmitrii Serov, Head of the Center for Collective Use of the NTI MPEI "Testing Ground of Transportation Technologies Electric Power and Distributed Intelligent Power Systems", Elena Gulicheva, Director on International Relations, Anastasia Mashkova, Director on Integration Police Development.

ME RK representatives visited the Institute of Electrical Power Engineering (IEPE), department of Relay Protection and Automation of Energy Systems, Center for Collective Use of the NTI MPEI "Testing Ground of Transportation Technologies electric Power and Distributed Intelligent power systems".
