2013 - 2015
MPEI held a series of activities in the framework of the
international project "Time to study in Russia!
Since 2015
MPEI has been actively cooperating with the leading university of the Republic
- Abkhazian State University.
According
to the curriculum, every year in June-July the 3rd year students undergo
practical training in specialized organizations. In 2021 within the framework
of the practice, 4 students of IHRE
were sent to Sukhumi HPP located in the Republic of Abkhazia.
Sukhumi HPP
is a small hydropower plant located on the Eastern Gumista River in the Sukhumi
district of the Republic of Abkhazia. Due to the fact that it is a private
power plant, students have a unique opportunity to learn about this kind of facility
in great detail.
