In 2019, Ghent University became the first partner of MPEI in Belgium. Since 2020, between MPEI and University of Ghent, there has been cooperation in the framework of the FUSION-EP project.
Professor Guido Emil Van Oost (Belgian citizen) is an employee of the Department of General Physics and Nuclear Fusion of MPEI.
