The first citizen of Peru graduated from MPEI in 1978. Since then MPEI has trained 30 Peruvian students.
On June 12, 1993, an agreement was signed with the National University of San Antonio. The purpose of this agreement was to expand and deepen cooperation in the field of academic, cultural and scientific exchange.
