Philosophy doctors of MPEI took part in the 8th Russian-German Week of young scientist

During the period from the 10th until the 13th of September German Academic Exchange Service and German Scientific Research Society held the 8th Russian-German Week of young scientist under the aegis of German House of Science and Innovations. It was related to "Chemical Energy Storage and Conversion" matter and done on the basis of Kazan National Research Technical University named after A. N. Tupolev – KAI, and German-Russian Institute of Advanced Technologies – GRIAT.

From the MPEI part, Ph.D. students of the Chemistry and Electric-Chemical Energetic Department, Artem Pushkarev and Irina Pushkareva, made their reports on "Study of oxygen-based catalysts for oxygen evolution for water electrolysis cells with TPE" and "The study of anion-exchange membranes for alkaline electrolysis of water with low cost".

Researchers from Moscow, Kazan, Skolkovo, Saratov, Novosibirsk, Saint-Petersburg, Irkutsk, Kiel, Ulm, Munich, Yena, Bochum, Berlin, Leipzig, Magdeburg took part in the conference.

In course of the session the presentation of program of financing and support of research was held. It was made by the young scientists and young collectives of researchers in the "Scientific Café" framework. This form of a meeting includes traditional briefings among representatives from the enterprises and foundations about the financing program realization, and ground for personal and free conversation of young scientists and responsible persons of the organizations that finance scientific research.

 "Russian-German weeks of young scientists" event takes part annually, each year with a new own feature. It has already shown itself as a traditional annual conference for German organizations under the aegis of DWIH with the goal of extending the network of young scientists and project researchers both from Russia and Germany.
