MPEI at the extended meeting of the Association of Technical Universities Council01.12.20221 December, 2022, an expanded meeting of the Association of Technical Universities Council was held, dedicated to the 30th anniversary since a university technical education system was created in Russia, as part of the IV Betancourt International Forum "Engineering Education - All-round Heritage" on the basis of Emperor Alexander I St. Petersburg State Transport University. The Council of the Association was held in the format of the Congress. Rectors of all universities that are members of the Association, heads and representatives of industrial enterprises, organizations and scientific institutions, government bodies, academic and public structures were present at the Council meeting. On behalf of MPEI at the meeting, Sergey Shirinsky, Head of External Relations Department made a report "Activities of the Russian-Kyrgyz Consortium of Technical Universities" The report was presented at the round table "Technological leadership of universities under formation of a single scientific and educational space of the Commonwealth of Independent States."
