Russian-Kyrgyz consortium of technical universities unites young scientists

On February 19, 2025, as part of the Russian-Kyrgyz Consortium of Technical Universities (RKCTU), there was the first meeting of representatives from the Councils of Young Scientists and Specialists of the Consortium's member universities. The meeting aimed to facilitate introductions and establish contacts for further discussions on prospects for joint activities.

Almaz Arzybaev, Vice-Rector on Science and Innovations of the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov (KSTU), Ivan Komarov, MPEI Vice-Rector on Science, and Elena Mishchenko, Vice-Rector on International Activities of the Tambov State Technical University addressed the participants with welcoming words.

The meeting was initiated by the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of KSTU and Gulida Kudakeeva, Chair, spoke on its behalf. Representatives of MPEI Student Scientific Society (Alexander Kiselev, Deputy Chair) and the Student Scientific Association of the Tambov State Technical University (Artem Medvedev, Chair) also took part in the discussion.

During the meeting, universities gave presentations outlining the principles of establishment and key activities of their respective student organizations. An active discussion and numerous questions from colleagues highlighted the success of this first exchange of experience, revealing many common interests for future collaboration. The participants expressed confidence in the development of bilateral relations and the strengthening of cooperation.
