Summary
The Department conducts classes in the basic humanitarian and social disciplines such as
Philosophy, Political Science, Sociology, Philosophy of Technical Science, History and Philosophy of Science, Logic, Professional Ethics, Jurisprudence, Psychology, Pedagogy, Speech Culture. There is also a Philosophy course in English for international students.
Research areas
Research work is carried out in the field of socio-cultural and value orientation of youth, Social Science, Value-oriented Technologies and Technology Assessment, Sociology of Education. Research is mainly carried out on the basis of the Social Research Laboratory of the Department.
