The Center was established on MPEI basis in accordance
with the decision of the Council of Heads of Government of the CIS of 2013. Its
primary objective is to develop cooperation among the CIS member states in the
field of renewable energy and energy efficiency.
The Center provides training, retraining and advanced
professional development for specialists in the field of renewable energy. Its
operations are guided by the decisions of the CIS bodies, international agreements
in the power engineering field, as well as MPEI’s charter.
- Supporting the
implementation of the CIS concept of cooperation in the renewable energy field.
- Training and
retraining of specialists in energy efficiency and renewable energy sources.
- Coordinating
scientific research and innovative development in the "green" energy
field.
