The
research activity of The Department of Modeling and Design of Power
Installations includes the following projects:
•
development of computer expert-diagnostic systems of steam boilers and their elements.
•
development of computer-aided design technologies for power equipment.
•
evaluation, justification and adoption of technical solutions in the steam
boilers design.
•
development and introduction of highly economical and environmentally friendly
technologies for fossil fuels’ combustion.
• mathematical
models’ development and software support for the power equipment design.
• fuels’
combustion study with controlling of chemical underburning.
• natural
circulation studies in heat recovery steam generators.
• highly
efficient low-power equipment (boilers, burners) development.
• solid
phase circulation circuit study in the CFB boiler.
• nonconventional-fuels-fed
low-power boilers’ design.
• Power
engineering objects’ full-scale studies organization.
