MPEI strengthens cooperation with India

On August 31, 2026, MPEI and Praxis Business School (India) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding. The signing ceremony took place online and marked an important step in strengthening MPEI’s partnerships with Indian educational institutions.

The MoU was signed by Nikolay Rogalev, MPEI Rector and Dr. Prithwis Mukherjee, Director of Praxis Business School. During the ceremony, both sides reaffirmed their interest in building long-term cooperation and expressed their readiness to implement joint initiatives in education and research.

The memorandum outlines the key areas for future cooperation. These include joint research projects in areas of mutual interest, academic mobility for students, faculty members, and administrative staff, the exchange of textbooks, academic publications, and teaching materials, as well as participation in seminars, conferences, and working meetings.

The two institutions place particular emphasis on moving from establishing institutional ties to implementing practical joint projects. The signing of the MoU provides a solid foundation for the consistent development of the partnership and the expansion of academic and research cooperation between Russia and India.

Praxis Business School was founded in 2007 and is based in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. The school offers a two-year Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM), accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the National Board of Accreditation (NBA), as well as a one-year programme in Data Science.

The PGDM programme is recognized among India’s leading programmes in analytics and big data. The school’s faculty members have professional experience at universities in India and abroad.
