The delegation from India visited MPEI

On the 19th of September a delegation from India came to Moscow for an official visit. It consisted of different representatives of the Gujarat state government and managers from a variety of companies:

• University of Gujarat, Ahmedabad
• Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (FICCI)
• Bureau of production and technical assistance (iNDEXTb)
• Shree Ramkrishna Exports Pvt. Ltd. (Srk)
• Reliance Industries Ltd
• Company Gujpro
• Nayara Energy Limited
• Company KPMG
• Company GOLS

In the beginning of the meeting MPEI representatives reported on the Educational System of Russia giving a profound presentation on the University work, its infrastructural and training issues. Then there was held a discussion on the cooperation forms in scientific and educational spheres, and the matter of preparing engineering human resources for Indian enterprises in collaboration with University of Gujarat.

From the Russian side the discussion was led by the Vice-Rector on International Relations Alexander Tarasov and Head of the International Administration Sergey Shirinskii.


The results of the meeting gave an intention to further activation of collaboration and development of the mutually fruitful education programs between MPEI and Indian Universities and organizations.​
