MPEI took part in strategic sessions for realization of Federal project “Education Export”

In the framework of realization of the event “Selection based on the results of international and Russian Olympiads and contests of at least 20 percent of foreign citizens of the total number of foreign citizens accepted for first year within the quota established by the Government of the Russian Federation for training in Russian organizations carrying out educational activities in educational programs of higher education in the demanded fields of study”. It is a part of Federal project “Education Export” and National project “Education” that was partially carried out in 2 strategic sessions.


The first strategic session took place on November 14, 2019. The actual session was conducted on the RUDN University base. As well, the online translations were available.

The second strategic session was on November 28, 2019 online.

From the MPEI part Vice-Rector on International Relations Alexander Tarasov was involved in the sessions, having reported on the “It’s time to study in Russia” Olympiad.

In course of the sessions the participants discussed the best practice of conducting Olympiads, contests and selection procedures abroad.​
