MPEI took part in Russian-German Forum of Science in Higher Education

Between the 2nd and the 3rd of December the Russian-German Forum of Science in Higher Education took place at MISIS in the framework of the program of Russian-German Year of Scientific and Education partnerships in 2018-2020. The event was based on the conference with the stands and posters exposition.

Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia was the organizer of the occasion, within the support of the Russian and German Ministry of Foreign Affairs, MISIS Institute and German House of Science and Innovation in Moscow (DWIH).

The guests were greeted by Alevtina Chernikova, MISIS Institute Rector, Andrey Fursenko, Counsellor of the President of Russia, Michelle Muntefering, State Secretary of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany, Grigoriy Trubnikov, First Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of Russia and Arnold van Zyl, Member of the DAAD Counsel and Head of Baden-Wurtemberg Dual University.

The Forum received Russian and German members of the Scientific and Educational societies and organizations. 2nd December, MPEI was presented by Elena Gulicheva, Head of Department of International Relations.

On the ground of the Forum, German and Russian experts shared their opinions about educational and academic science, modeling of support of the International Science and Technical collaboration and research Internationalization of the sector.

The rating of projects of the last year exhibition was exposed.

In framework of the Forum, the plenary session was conducted. It was dedicated to the anniversary of signing the Roadmap of collaboration in the fields of education, science, research and innovation and presented the basic priority results of the work.

For promotion of the dialogue of young Russian and German researchers on the 3rd of December 2019 the meeting of the young scientists was carried out. The main focus of the discussion on this event was put on the influence of internationalization of science and education upon the career of a young scientist. Particular panel discussion was dedicated to the issues of international commercialization of science projects


On December 3, Shohzoda Behruzi Talbi (postgraduate student of Department of Hydropower and Renewable Energy Sources) and Ekaterina Sysoeva (postgraduate student of Department of Management in Energy and Industry) took part in a meeting of young scientists from the part of "MPEI".

Finally, the Science Slam contest summed up the results of Russian and German young scientists.
