Development of cooperation between MPEI and EEC

March 6, 2020, the visit of delegation of MPEI to Eurasia Economic Commission was paid. The delegation was headed by professor Nikolay Rogalev, Rector of MPEI, and comprised as well Alexander Tarasov, Vice-Rector on International Relations, and Turatbek Duyshenaliev, professor of department of Robotics, Mechatronics, Dynamics and Machine Strength of MPEI.

EEC is a permanent supranational regulatory body of the Eurasian Economic Union and the Common Economic Space. The main task of the Eurasian Economic Commission is to ensure the wellness of conditions for the functioning and development of the Eurasian Economic Union, the Customs Union and the Common Economic Space, and to develop proposals for integration in the framework of these associations.

The delegation of MPEI was received by the member of the Board, Minister of the power industry and infrastructure of EEC Emile Kaykiev. The issues discussed were concerning the preparation of engineering specialists for power industry of the EEC and as well the activity of MPEI in space of EEC.

Emile Kaykiev spoke about the concept of development of the Science and Technical Council of EEC and Nikolay Rogalev underlined the readiness of MPEI to participate in the project. The issues of involvement of leading MPEI scientists as experts in the workgroups of the Board in the fields of Power Engineering and infrastructure of EEC were discussed, as well as the issues of the training of EEC specialists in the engineering domains basing on MPEI resources.

Nikolay Rogalev kindly invited the Minister to visit the Jubilee events concerning 90th anniversary of MPEI.
