MPEI included in subject ratings of Times Higher Education

In 2020, MPEI has confirmed its positions in the international rating THE in the subject field "Engineering Sciences and Technologies", having claimed the 801-1000 position among the best universities worldwide.

Moreover, in this year MPEI entered the list of the best universities of the world in two new subject fields: in the field of Computer Science MPEI took the 601-800 position and in Physics - the 801-1000 position.

For the composition of THE subject ratings 13 indicators are used. They form five lines - teaching, research activity, citation index, international cooperation, production income.

In the year of 2020, 1512 higher educational institutes made the rating in 11 subject fields, the engineering science rating comprised 1098 universities, including 42 Russian universities.
