New meeting of Energy workgroup of University of Shanghai Cooperation Organization

10 March, 2021, a scheduled work session of the Energy workgroup of USCO was carried out. The event’s format was a webinar, that was attended by representatives of Novosibirsk State Technical University - Vadim Nekrasov, Vice-Rector for International Relations, Alexey Beloglazov, Dean of the Power Engineering Faculty; South Ural State University - Tatyana Vasilyeva, Head of the Center of International Educational Programs; and MPEI - Alexander Tarasov, Vice-Rector on International Relations and Sergey Shirinskii, Head of International Administration.

Representatives of the Basic Higher Educational Institutions of USCO discussed the issues of proposal for realization of the mutual programs for postgraduate and Bachelor graduate study in the framework of USCO to the organization's Rectorate. MPEI and SUSU shared their experience with the partners. The officials made an agreement upon conducting the contest of the best graduation thesis among the students of the USCO joint programs in Power Engineering, as well as on the plan of carrying out the first and the second stages of the contest, the summary terms and awarding.

In the framework of the formation of the database of USCO it was decided to actualize the lists of the USCO graduates of the partner Universities and to send the statistical data to MPEI as the coordinator of the project.
