MPEI holds Olympiad in Power Engineering for international students18.03.20215 March, 2021, the Power Engineering Olympiad for foreign students in Russian language, Mathematics, Physics and IT was held. It was carried out in a videoconference format, i.e. the students’ performance in front of the camera was assessed. Five countries took part in the Olympiad, four of them participate in the program of Resource centers of Russian education abroad: Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan and Turkey. The number of participants exceeded 200 persons.Many of them decided to take part in the Olympiad after following the course of lectures in Basic Physics conducted at the end of 2020 for Resource centers, and many succeeded to be awarded. We are happy to see the program of Resource centers helping foreigners to get acquainted with the available Russian education and stimulating them to try themselves in such Olympiads.
