MPEI presents Master and Ph.D. programs in English for Egyptian applicants

29 September, 2021, a special webinar for Egyptian applicants was conducted.

From the foreign part, the organizers of the event were: Dr. Mohamed Elsergani, Cultural Attache, Head of Cultural Bureau (Egyptian Embassy in Russia), and Hisham Ahmed, General Director of the Dispatch and Academic Supervision Department (Central Department of Mission, Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education).

The MPEI part was presented by Irina Kulik, Head of Scientific Educational Center "Development of the partnership in Information and Communication Technologies" and Irina Sazonova, specialist of the International Relations Department who spoke about the history, life of the university and educational programs in English.

As well, Ekaterina Zhigulina, Head of the Ph.D. and Doctorate studies, and Nathalia Savchenkova, Head of the Department of Foreign Doctorate Studies and Internships, Alexey Dudolin, Deputy Head of the Thermal Power Plants Department and Dmitry Gorburov, Associate Professor of the Thermal Power Plants Department, all participated in the event.

During the webinar, Heads of the programs consulted potential applicants on the issues of admission to MPEI on the programs of Master and Ph.D. studies in English medium.

​​​​​​​​The cooperation of MPEI with Egyptian universities and organizations began in 1964, when the first students were accepted for education. Actually, foreign teachers from Egypt work at our University, and foreign students study at MPEI as well.
