Extension of collaboration with Kazakh Universities
28-29 October, 2021, at the Alikhan Bokeikhan University (ABU) in
Kazakhstan, the International Contest of students’ business projects was held
in remote format.
This Contest is carried out annually within the goal to improve the
skills of entrepreneur thinking and capacities of the young students, forming
active citizenship and understanding of the social responsibilities of
The contest was carried out in the following fields:
1. Social entrepreneurship;
2. Green economy;
3. Problems of waste conversion in industrial regions.
The contest included two stages:
1. Project expertise by the expert committee on the basis of application
and description (technical, economic expertise)
2. Public defence of projects by the teams of the educational institutes
In 2021, the expert committee included:

of the Faculty of Basic Training, Novosibirsk State University of Economics and
Management "NUNE" (Novosibirsk, Russia).
The project “Production of oat biscuits Buiscreals” made by the
Department of Management in Power Engineering and Industry of
Engineering-economic Institute was selected among the best business projects.
MPEI is now planning to sign an agreement of cooperation with Alikhan Bokeikhan
University in November.

Management, Informatics and Computer Science, Biotechnical Systems and
