Joint laboratory is opened in framework of 2nd Russian-Chinese Scientific-Technical forum

23 December, 2021, the solemn ceremony of opening a 2nd Russian-Chinese scientific-technical forum was held on the basis of Harbin Polytechnic University. It was carried out online under the guidance of the Ministry of Industry and Informatization of the PRC, the Ministry of Science and Technics of the PRC and the Government of Heilongjiang, China.

Forum “Knowledge-Intensive Technologies: from research to implementation” was aimed at constantly functioning international ground creation for meetings of Chinese and Russian scientists and specialists.

In the framework of the Forum opening ceremony, the Russian-Chinese joint laboratory on the new power technologies was opened in the framework of the “One belt, one way” initiative, which includes MPEI activities. MPEI Rector Nikolay Rogalev congratulated the members of the ceremony remotely upon the start of a new important step of collaboration.

The event gathered officers of the Heilongjiang Government, China, Harbin Polytechnic University staff and delegates of Russian Academy of Sciences, MPEI, SPBU, MAI and Samara University. The MPEI delegation included its Vice-rector on scientific work Viktor Dragunov, Scientific Administration staff and Head of the International Administration Sergey Shirinskii.
