MPEI at XII International Forum ATOMEXPO 2022

21-22 November, 2022, Alexander Tarasov, Vice-rector on International Relations of MPEI, and Baldorj Myagmargarav, Mongolian Ph.D. student of the Institute of Electric Power Engineering of MPEI, took part in the XII International Forum ATOMEXPO 2022, which took part in Sochi. The topics of the Forum’s discussion included contemporary trends of the Nuclear Engineering Industry and its present state.

In the framework of the event, Alexander Tarasov took part in the meeting of Tatyana Terentyeva, Deputy HR General Director of Rosatom State Corporation, and Amon Murvira - Minister of Higher Education, Innovations, Science and Technology of the Republic of Zimbabwe, where issues of cooperation in the educational field were discussed.

22 November, a round table was held, dedicated to “Perfection of work with foreign graduates of universities - new forms and solutions”. It was organized by Rosatom and Russian University of People’s Friendship. There, Alexander Tarasov shared the MPEI experience in the field of young specialists training for foreign countries. He spoke about the role of state support for qualified personnel growth and development.

The round table gathered representatives of foreign Associations of Russian Universities’ Graduates, Embassies and Consulates, Rosatom basic Universities and organizations, as well as foreign graduates and foreign students of Russian Universities, such as MPEI graduates Leos Tomicek (Deputy General Director - Technical Director of Rusatom Energy Projects JSC) and Tran Thi Thanh (President of the Vietnam Institute of Atomic Energy (VINATOM). ​​​​
