Nikolay Rogalyov spoke at the II Forum of the Eurasian Network University

On October 22-23, Minsk hosted the II Forum of the Eurasian Network University – a scientific and educational consortium. The event is attended by heads and personnel of higher education institutions participating in the Eurasian Network University from the Russian Federation, the Republic of Belarus, the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as representatives of public authorities of Russia and Belarus.

In their speeches at the forum, the experts presented the participation results of various universities in integration processes, as well as the implementation results of strategic directions of the Eurasian region development in education and science.

Nikolay Rogalev, MPEI Rector, presented the models of inter-university cooperation implemented by MPEI within the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).

They include MPEI's activity as a base organization of the CIS member states for training, professional retraining and advanced training of personnel in the electrical power engineering, participation in such network projects as CIS Network University, Eurasian Network University, SCO University. Also, they embrace the activity of the Russian-Kyrgyz consortium of technical universities, interaction of MPEI with the Executive Committee of the CIS Electric Power Council and the Eurasian Economic Commission, organization of the work of the CIS Scientific and Expert Community and the CIS Council of Young Scientists on Electrical Power Engineering and many other MPEI projects.

On the same day, Nikolay Rogalev took part in the meeting of the Coordination Council of the Eurasian Network University. There representatives of the universities-participants of the scientific and educational consortium discussed topical issues of the ENU functioning.
