MPEI strengthens cooperation with Belarusian partners

October 15-17, Oleg Kubryak, Dr. Sci. (Biology), professor of the Robotics, Mechatronics, Dynamics and Machine Strength Department (RMDSM), visited the Republic of Belarus.

At the Belarusian State University (BSU), there were meetings with Assoc. Prof., Ph.D. (Physics and Mathematics) Yuri Orlovich, Dean of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Informatics and Prof., Dr. Sci. (Biology) Anatoly Chumak, Dean of the Faculty of Biology.

Oleg Kubryak gave a lecture on the topic: “Theory of functional systems: connection with engineering sciences and cybernetic ideas” to representatives of the student science club of the Department of Human and Animal Physiology. At the meeting with personnel of the BSU Department of Automation, it was possible to discuss promising areas of scientific and technical cooperation between the organizations.

​​The program also included a number of expert consultations within the Belarusian Energy and Environment Forum and the Medicine and Health-2024 International Specialized Exhibition.

The working visit of the MPEI professor ended with summarizing the results and discussing the possibility of concluding agreements on further cooperation with new partners. That is expected to contribute to the strengthening of the university's international relations.
