Educational course on online recruitment of international students at MPEI

February 12-14, 2025 MPEI hosted a three-day educational course titled "Online Recruitment of International Students", organized for staff members of international departments at universities. The course was led by Bogdan Voronovsky, General Director of the Eastern European Universities Association (EEUA).

MPEI brought together representatives from universities in Moscow, various regions of Russia, Belarus, and Kyrgyzstan. During the course, participants analyzed the current situation in international student recruitment, discussed modern approaches to working with international students, explored various online marketing tools, and exchanged experiences while outlining future development strategies.

As part of the course, participants were introduced to the scientific and educational environment of MPEI. Guests visited the Departments of the Russian Language (IHAS), Theoretical Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering​ (IEPE), Hydropower and Renewable Energy Sources, Hydromechanics and Hydraulic Machines​ (IHRE), as well as the GOELRO Museum.

At the end of the course, participants noted that the program not only facilitated professional experience exchange but also helped develop new strategies for attracting international students.
