XI meeting of the Coordinating Council of the Eurasian Network University

Nikolay Rogalev, MPEI Rector, Chairman of the Coordinating Council of the Eurasian Network University (ENU), took part in the XI meeting of the Council.

The meeting was held as part of the international scientific and practical conference “The Great Patriotic War of 1941–1945: Historical Memory and Modernity”, hosted by Volgograd State Technical University.

Opening the meeting, Nikolay Rogalev warmly welcomed representatives of the academic, educational, and business communities, expressing his gratitude to colleagues for their active involvement in the development of the ENU.

As part of the meeting agenda, MPEI Rector delivered a keynote address titled “On the Accession of New Participants to the Memorandum of Understanding on the Establishment of the Eurasian Network University.” In his speech, he emphasized the importance of expanding the ENU partnership network, highlighted the potential of new participants, and outlined priority areas for future cooperation.

At the end of the main part of the event, there was an open discussion. Participants addressed current issues and development prospects of the ENU, shared experiences in implementing joint projects, and put forward proposals to strengthen cooperation among the member universities.

The Eurasian Network University (ENU) is an open scientific and educational consortium established in 2022 at the initiative of universities from the EAEU member states. Its mission is to train highly qualified professionals for Eurasian integration, develop joint educational programs and research initiatives, and contribute to the creation of a unified educational space.

The university brings together leading academic institutions from Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan. Its network-based format enables the integration of university resources, the use of distance learning technologies, and a prompt response to the labor market needs of the EAEU.

In 2024, MPEI Rector Nikolay Rogalev was elected Chairman of the ENU Coordinating Council.​
