MPEI International Division reports that from October 3 to October 6, 2013 a group of MPEI students and Ph.D.- students took part in the 11th International Conference of Students and Ph.D.-students in Wroclaw. Annually Wroclaw University of Technology organizes a conference for students and Ph.D.-students, devoted to the widest range of issues in science and technology. This year 86 students and Ph.D.-students from Poland, Hungary, Russia and Ukraine took part in the Conference, thus all reports were in the form of eight-minute performance with presentation in English and the subsequent discussion.

An employee from MPEI Department of Computer Engineering - P. Paramonov participated in the Students' Scientific Conference with the report "The method of image filtering in the neural network based on associative oscillatory medium". This report is recognized as the best on the section "Information Technologies". After the conference the speaker received the Certificate of the participation, and also the diploma "For the best presentation in the section "Information Technologies". Following the results of the meetings within the Conference there were outlined prospects of scientific contacts.
