MPEI International Division informs that on January 23, 2014 the Vietnamese news agency in Moscow (VNA) visited MPEI. Correspondents from Vietnam were hospitably met by MPEI professor Nguyen Kuok Shi who showed them Plasma Physics laboratory, and by Vietnamese students and Ph.D.- students who are trained in MPEI.

During the meeting MPEI presentation was organized for guests. There was told about the Academic Competition "It's time to study in Russia!" in Vietnam that has been organized in spring in 2013 and it is planned to be in March, 2014. After the meeting Vice-Rector on International Relations Vladimir Zamolodchikov gave exclusive interview about MPEI achievements and about those events that are planned concerning the celebration of the year devoted to the 60 anniversary since the beginning of Vietnamese citizens training at MPEI.
