MPEI International Division informs that on June 18 the British company Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) published a ranking of BRICS countries best Universities 2014 (QS University Rankings: BRICS 2014) and also it announced results of 2014 during the 2nd annual conference "Emerging Economies: Universities in the Spotlight" - this time it took place in Beijing (People's Republic of China). Leadership in the Ranking is held by universities of China; Russia took the second place by quantity of Universities that have got to the list of the best ones.

Universities are estimated by eight criteria, basic of them is reputation of the University in the academic environment and among employers of university graduates. Besides, there are considered number of scientific publications of the University staff, quoting, level of internationalization and some other parameters. MPEI was also included in the list of BRICS countries best universities.
