MPEI International Division informs that in Ilmenau University of Technology (Germany) there took place an international symposium SPITSE - the organizing committee included MPEI, LETI and Ilmenau University of Technology. Within the SPITSE program (Strategic partnership of engineering faculties of Ilmenau University of Technology, LETI and MPEI with financial support from DAAD since July 7 to July 18, 2014 there was organized a first symposium on "Systems, sensors and networks". This year the symposium took place in Ilmenau University of Technology and it includes scientific and practical seminars, and also summer school for students and Ph.D.-students. Main objective of the symposium - association of experts and young scientists from all three institutions, exchange of knowledge, and also discussion of prospects for cooperation and future joint researches. Within the event 13 employees from MPEI have undergone professional training and made scientific reports.

 

Besides, there were summarized competition results between students and Ph.D.- students on the best scientific report. The report of MPEI student Oleg Smirnov was rewarded by diploma, as one of the best.
