MPEI International Division informs that in Ilmenau University of Technology (Germany) within the International Symposium SPITSE (Strategic Partnership of TU Ilmenau, Electrotechnical University St. Petersburg, and National Research University "Moscow Power Engineering Institute") on July 9, 2014 there took place a ceremony concerning signing of the agreement of intentions to create a networking Russian-German University on the basis of Ilmenau University of Technology, MPEI and LETI aimed at realization of strategic tripartite interaction in the field of training and scientific researches, and also cooperation coordination, strengthening of competitiveness and increasing of international reputation, in particular, by realization of "two diploma" (or double degree) programs and joint research projects. The signed document opens the new horizons of the international cooperation between Russian and German Universities.
