Summer School at Beijing Institute of Technology 2025

From July 6 to August 2, 2025, MPEI bachelor, master and Ph.D.-students took part in the Summer School at the Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) in China.

Founded in 1940, BIT is home to over 33,800 students, including 2,700 international students from 149 countries. It is ranked 355th globally in the QS World University Rankings.

This year, participants could choose not only their field of study but also the city where they would attend the program: either the Chinese capital, Beijing, or the coastal city of Zhuhai.

Following an internal selection process, six MPEI students from IITCS (CMSN Department), IEEE (EEEA and EPSIEE Departments), IPMM, EEI (EPEI Department), and IEPE (EPS Department), along with two Ph.D.-students from the CMSN and MT Departments, were chosen for the program. Students from 20 countries came to study one of four tracks, ranging from Chinese language to electronics. Over the course of four weeks, MPEI participants studied Chinese, dived into the country’s culture and explored local landmarks.

All participants successfully completed the program, received certificates and shared their impressions:

Summer Schools at BIT have become a good tradition for MPEI students of all study levels.
