MPEI International Division informs that on April 30, 2013 a delegation from Xian University visited MPEI. The delegation included: Xie Yanchzhao - Professor in the field of electric engineering and technology of high tension, Jan Penlin - Professor in the field of electric engineering and automatics, an interpreter - Li Goshen.

Within a meeting the delegation visited MPEI leading Departments.

The delegation of university expressed to MPEI big gratitude since during formation of High tension and insulating technologies Department of Xian University Mantrov M. I. - the prominent scientist and Professor of electrotechnical materials and cables Department (now — FTEMK Department) took part. He was sent to the People's Republic of China in the early fifties.

Also, within the visit of delegation there had been reception in MPEI International Division where the parties communicated about universities and stated their wishes to develop cooperation both in educational, and in scientific spheres.
