MPEI International Division informs that on May 21, 2013 a delegation from The University of Finance and Management of Bialystok, the Republic of Poland visited MPEI. The delegation was headed by Rector Jozef Szablowski. Delegation included: Artem Volkov - the adviser of the Rector on International Cooperation and Jolanta Helewska - assistant to Rector.

The Polish delegation was accepted by Nikolay Rogalev - Acting Rector. From the Russian side at a meeting there were present: Vladimir Zamolodchikov - Vice Rector on International Relations and Tarasov Alexander - Head of International Cooperation Department.

During the meeting there had been discussed questions concerning organization of two diplomas program between our Universities. Both MPEI and the University of Finance and Management of Bialystok have experience of similar programs organization. There also has been confirmed mutual interest to the organization of mutual training for students and professors from our Universities.

By results of negotiations there had been taken a decision to sign the agreement on implementation of two diplomas program. For this purpose Rectors defined responsible persons for implementation of this program from the international services and agreed soon to define responsible people for curricula harmonization from educational divisions of universities. It is planned to begin implementation of this program since autumn of this year.
