​According to initiative of Shanghai University of Electric Power, the First International Educational Forum on Development of Electric Power Technologies (ADEPT) was hold in China. In ADEPT work representatives of eight different universities participated: University of Strathclyde, Glasgo, UK; Curtin University, Pert, Australia; National Research University “Moscow Power Engineering Institute”, Moscow, Russia; Electric Power University, Hanoi, Vietnam; Universiti Tenaga Nasional, Kayang, Malasia; Federal University of Itajuba, Itajuba, Brazil; Brandenburg University of Technology, Kotbus, Germany; Shanghai University of Electric Power, Shanghai, China. MPEI was represented by Vice-Rector Zamolodchikov V.N. and Head of International Administration Shirinskii S.V.

Within the frames of Forum all 8 universities signed thew Memorandum on Establishing of constantly acting ADEPT Forum intended to promote development bot power engineering technologies as a whole and two-sided cooperation between university-partners.

MPEI signed Agreement on cooperation with Shanghai University of Electric Power, which strengthened our partnership developed and will permit to more close interactions of two universities.
