The representative delegation from MPEI visited MPEI branch in Dushanbe to discuss the condition of study in the branch, issues of its further development (photo 166). The MPEI delegation has to examine a situation in the branch, first of all, a statement of educational process to render the educational, methodical and practical help for teachers of the branch, to estimate level of their qualification. During the meetings teachers from the branch received textbooks, educational and methodical materials on different disciplines for 1st academic year, laboratory works on physics and the chemistry, developed by MPEI Departments. There have been organized meetings of our delegation with labor staff of the branch with representatives of the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Energy, "Barki Tochik" state energy company, with the rector of the Tajik Technical University. The delegation visited the Russian center of science and culture - there was a conversation on joint projects, on foundation of lyceum on the basis of the branch, and in the subsequent, the Russian high comprehensive school.
