International Division informs that from November 18 to November 24 there have been passed events of information stage of the Academic Competition "It's time to study in Russia!" that is held annually under the auspices of Rossotrudnichestvo. Representatives of National Research University "MPEI" made a long form presentation about features of training, and also conditions of stay, social and cultural life of students. The total number of participants was more than 700 people.

Within these events the delegation from Russia was accepted by the Consul general of Russia, and also visited Darkhan Thermal Power Plant and Darkhan metallurgical plant, Mongolian-Russian ore-dressing enterprise "Erdenet". The Head of the delegation, Vice Rector on International Relations of MPEI Vladimir N. Zamolodchikov gave interview to two channels of the Mongolian television where he spoke about the Academic Competition.

Following the results of information stage there were offered to continue more active interaction of the Russian and Mongolian Universities to enhance cooperation on the organization of joint educational programs, and possible creation of the network University.
