MPEI International Division informs that the Academic Competition "It is time to study in Russia!" took place in the Republic Moldova from April 2 till April 6, 2014. The purpose - use of the Olympic mechanism for stimulation of the natural competitive environment and self-manifestation of creative youth of Moldova, including the Dnestr Moldavian Republic showing interest to education in Russia; creation of the positive image of Russian education as a whole and the Universities represented by organizers; selection of the most talented graduates from national schools to train on technical specialties in Russian Universities within the quota determined by the Government of the Russian Federation, and also on a contractual basis between university and the foreign citizen.

Within events of Academic Competition there were presentations of the Russian Universities for participants, total number of the Moldavian pupils from graduation classes - participants of the events of the Academic Competition exceeded 450 people from more, than 30 educational institutions of the Republic of Moldova and the Dnestr Moldavian Republic.

Within the events there were organized working meetings with the principal of Representation of Rossotrudnichestvo in the Republic of Moldova, the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Kishinev V.E.Rybitsky - there were discussed prospects of the Russian-Moldavian cooperation in the field of science, culture and education.
