MPEI International Division informs that on May 13-14, 2014 MPEI took part in the III annual Eurasian conference on development of the international education that took place in St. Petersburg, Russia. IUNC 2014 is aimed at the development of the relations between Universities of the different countries and creation of worldwide network of interaction for colleagues and partners. 112 representatives of the educational organizations took part in conference: 58 – from countries of Western Europe, North America, Africa and Latin America and 54 – from CIS countries.

Events of the Conference included open sessions and seminars on subjects:

• Tendencies of the international education
• Effective methods of cooperation between Universities
• Effective tools of foreign students recruiting

Besides, the representative of MPEI held 11 personal meetings with representatives of Universities and the educational organizations from Finland, Spain, Germany, Portugal, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, China, Cyprus. During the meetings there were discussed possible directions and cooperation perspectives according to the academic mobility programs, creation of joint educational programs (double diplomas and short-term), joint research projects and publications and many other things.
